This Privacy Policy explains how LABE Trade Ltd (company number 14895944) (“LABE”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit our pre-launch buyer landing page at www.labe.co.uk.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Cookies Policy, which explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on the website (including analytics), and how to manage your preferences.

Important: The LABE online marketplace (including user accounts, listings, payments and transactions) is not yet live. A separate Privacy Policy will apply to those marketplace features once they launch.

Who we are

LABE Trade Ltd is a UK company operating a curated vintage clothing and accessories marketplace. During the pre-launch phase, our website is used to share information about LABE and to allow users to join a buyer waitlist or contact us.

During the pre-launch phase, we may collect:

  • Email address (for buyer waitlist signup or enquiries)
  • Name or other information you voluntarily provide
  • Communications you send to us (for example, emails or form submissions)
  • Technical and usage data (such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location) via cookies and analytics tools, subject to your consent where required by law

We do not collect payment details, account credentials, or transaction data at this stage.

How we collect your data

  • Join the buyer waitlist
  • Contact us by email or via a form
  • Interact with the website (via cookies and similar technologies)

How and why we use your personal data

  • Manage and maintain our buyer waitlist
  • Respond to enquiries or communications
  • Send operational updates about LABE where appropriate
  • Improve and monitor the performance of our website
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

Our lawful bases for processing are consent, our legitimate interests (where those interests are not overridden by your rights), and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.

Marketing communications

We do not currently send marketing emails to buyers or waitlist users.

At present, updates and newsletters are sent only to provisionally accepted Foundation Sellers as part of onboarding and platform preparation. These communications are sent on the basis of legitimate interests and/or consent, and recipients may opt out at any time.

Who we share your data with

We may share personal data with trusted service providers who help us operate the website (such as hosting, analytics and email tools). These providers act under our instructions and are subject to contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or to comply with legal obligations.

Where you join the buyer waitlist, we will retain your email address until the marketplace launches or you ask us to delete it (unless a longer retention period is required by law).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have rights including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
